Hildegardis residential quarter
A residential project for all generations: A modern residential quarter with around 30,000 m² of living space has been created on the former hospital site. In collaboration with ambihome, around 500 newly created residential units have been equipped with intelligent smart home technology.
ambihome was involved at an early stage in the planning of the district, which was built between 2021/2022, and developed a sophisticated concept for implementation together with the building services planner. Fundamental questions were clarified: What is the installation philosophy in the KNX system? How are the cables for the IP intercom system routed? And how will the cooling signal for the underfloor heating be transmitted?
The project included both new buildings and completely renovated old buildings – which required a flexible and well thought-out approach. ambihome was also closely involved in the coordination of special requests, especially as a large proportion of the apartments remain in the ownership. The coordination and coordination of the three electrical companies involved was also part of the contract in order to ensure smooth and successful project execution.

MaxFrei is an exemplary urban quarter in the Düsseldorf district of Derendorf. The aim of the project was to create high-quality living space. Of course, the desired value retention also includes future-proof smart home technology with door video communication – an integral part of modern residential buildings.

The focus here is on ease of use: whether classic switch or modern app – ambihome systems can also be customized at a later date.
Pandion – Albertussee
Anyone who wants to live smart relies on KNX, the globally uniform standard for equipping buildings with future-proof system technology. On a total site area of around 42,000 square meters, a quarter with around 750 apartments is being built, for which areas such as lighting, shading, heating and air conditioning as well as security are being implemented with a KNX system solution.
